1 Year 2 Months 3 Weeks

I had my first job interview today, well my first casting. I got a call some weeks ago and today was my casting shoot. It was an interesting sight. Many kids running around waiting for their name to be called. Mum's and Dad's with their own anticipation. It was quite daunting, we were told to turn up casual, yet some kids looked like they were already dressed for the shoot. I do not think I will see many of these hopeful models at future castings.

My name was called and we were off. I stood on a white backdrop, Mummy was next to me and the flash of the camera went off. Daddy stood behind the photographer and I looked up at him, the photographer let out this strange clicking noise and I let out a laugh and showed my killer smile (something I inherited from my Daddy). The audience let out a little "ahhhhh", they asked for my size and placed some pants in front of me. Something they did not do to the kid who was before me. Maybe a sign.

I should find out in a few weeks if I passed the casting and make the actual shoot. Australia's Next Top Model, I'm on my way. Where is my pay cheque????

Up early and travelled to Randwick for a doctors appointment. Initially, we went to the wrong street as Mummy thought the place was at Baker Street, after a phone call to the office and a few words by Daddy we made our destination at Barker Street.

I played with Humpty Dumpty and a big fat purple rabbit in the waiting room, they called Mummy and we went to a smaller dark room. Mummy laid on a bed, the nurse put some gel like stuff on her and placed this device over her stomach. I looked up on the TV screen and there it was....

.....A Baby......I am having a brother or sister.....

I will have to share my parents with another.....I'm not sharing my room.....I am not sharing my cot....Oh no the noise of this baby crying will keep me awake....Where was my say in this??????

But there it was on the big screen. My sibling is due 28 November 2009, six more months before it is here....I don't know if my ready for all this change...

1 Year 1 Month 4 Weeks

Mummy brought my first pair of shoes today. We went to Shoes and Sox Miranda Westfield. After much time waiting for other parents who may their child try on seven pairs of shoes and walk to the moon and back, "just to see if the shoes fit", it was my turn.

Mummy picked out a pair, I tried them on and took big steps like Neil Armstrong and his first steps across the moon. I soon got use to the heavy weights and we were out of there. I rather walk around bare foot.

Look at my hairdresser, Christine. After much crying and screaming I finally got my hair shaved. I saw Daddy have his hair shaved and thought it was no problem, but when it was my turn I was really scared. Mummy and Daddy had to hold me down, it was worse then receiving all those needles for my immunisation shots.
