1 Year 4 Weeks

I love to walk around and around, but not alone. When I go for a walk I grab Mummy's hand and lead her around. When she lets go I take a few steps along then fall into a heap and cry. I'm not scared, of course I'm not, I just like to have somebody near my side when I walk.

Anyway, I'm letting my parents feel that they are needed in some way, well that's my excuse anyway.

1 Year 3 Weeks

My first black eye. Mummy was giving me a bath and I was jumping around like a little bean, I slipped and feel in the bath and my head hit the side. It really hurt and my eye was very bruised. Over the next few days my eye turned black, purple, yellow and many other colours.

The chicks really dig this, I am getting so many cuddles and kisses.

1 Year 1 Week

Words are slowly coming to understand me. When I see a dog I go, "Woo Woo" and when I hear a bird I go. "Bur--d" I like to pick up my mobile phone and talk, I think Mummy and Daddy feel that I am talking jabbering, but I know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I wave my arms about when I speak so at least they can see that I am talking.

Yes that is right, I can not believe the cake Mummy brought for my birthday. There was only a small party at Nonno and Nonna's place, Nanny was there as well as my godparents. However the cake was so big we could only eat the first little bit.

11 Months 4 Weeks

After a hard days work, Daddy was resting on the lounge chair looking at the highlights of the cricket, Australia vs South Africa. I thought it would be my chance to make good my escape. I let go of the lounge and commenced to walk through the lounge room and down the hallway towards the front door.

That's right, all by myself and not holding onto anything, I took my first steps of freedom.

I think Daddy and Mummy were in shock and it took him some time to realise what had just occurred. He came towards me all happy and clapping. Ahh, I know how to keep these guys at my fingertips.
