9 Months 4 Weeks

Daddy, Mummy and I took a few days away from home and went up the coast to stay at Steve's and Leanne's place. All the parents went out, I stayed with the kids and the nanny. Daddy and Steve got home in the early hours of the morning, a little drunk I think. I could see their pain during the next day.

The second day was New Years Eve. We all headed up to North Entrance to watch the fireworks. There was a lot of pretty colours in the sky, but the loud noises scared me at times as you can see. I was holding onto Mummy with all my strength.

A nice tradition commenced today, Dad and me watching the Boxing Day Test Match. I was dragged into this and do not have much say, but I have to give my Daddy something. Mummy was not to impressed with the concept, but I think that she does not have much say on this issue.

Later in the afternoon, we went to Andrew and Michelle's place, you guessed it, we watched some more cricket. However there was little surprise for them, I stood up on my own, well for about five seconds. But everyone was excited.

I met up with my Daddy's family today to have an early Christmas. There were so many people around and I felt a little lost. It took me a while to settle into my routine and become the most loved one again. My Aunties keep holding me and telling me how cute I am, this is starting to become so repetitive I think that I may become tired of this................ummmm well no keep it going.

Santa came along later in the night, I was told he made a special appearance and he gave me heaps of presents. I think that I am slowly getting use to this.

My official visit with Santa today. I asked him for many things on Christmas, Daddy told me to ask him for a little brother or sister but I don't know what Mummy thinks of that.

I was very good when I met Santa. I did not cry or was I scared of him, the other kids who sat with him were crying for some reason. I just looking at his big white beard.

I can not believe this, my parents have getting very lazy. They do not feed me my bottle anymore. They lay me on the floor, put a pillow under my head and give me my milk bottle so I have to hold it myself.

What is the world coming to??

I rather them hold me when they feed my bottle to me, I think they want me to become independent, I rather have things done for me.

Here is my Christening cake. Mummy and Daddy when to a shop called Pasticceria Mancuso where they make cakes for all occasions.


The shop is also a cafe, so you can sit down and have a coffee and eat a nice little sweet. The cake was a chocolate mud cake and Daddy reckons it was the best mud cake he has ever eaten. He should know as he has had a few mud cakes over this time.

Today is my Christening, with much planning over the last number of weeks it has finally arrived. The invitations went out, which Mummy made, and the replies have come back. The cake and food has been ordered and my white suit has been purchased.

Daddy dropped Mummy and I off at Nunno's house whilst he went and picked a few things up. We arrived that the church nice and early and got the best seat, of course. There were six other children having their christening on the same day.

After the christening, all my relations and friends when back to Nunno's and Nunna's place for lunch. Daddy was in fine form ordering and directing everyone to make sure the day went well. To which it did.

After much rolling and dragging around along the floor, I took off on my first crawl. They were uneasy steps but I moved along then I stopped when I heard Mummy and Daddy scream and shout, they clapped so much.

I was not very tired when my parents put me to bed tonight, I cried and rolled around in my cot, then I learnt something, I learnt to sit up.

It took some effort, I got on my hands and knees bounced around for a little and then it happened, I sat up. This scared Mummy as she thinks I may fall out of my cot.

Daddy took me to an interview today with Brats Models at Balmain. The interview was just to see me in person. I don't really know how successful it will be, if I get through a few castings then it will be fine. Something different I suppose to add to my resume and it could be character building.

7 Months

I had a bad night of sleep. I kept waking up every hour or so, this was because one of my top teeth is trying to break through and it was hurting me. Oh well, it is something that Mummy and Daddy have to deal with.

6 Months 4 Weeks

My first time at the beach. The whole family went on a picnic with friends of Mummy and Daddy. I got to touch grass for the first time and played with other kids. Things were going pretty well, just after this shot was taken I fell head first into the sand and got a mouth full. Mummy panicked and Daddy wondered off. After a few cries and Mummy sticking her fingers in my mouth, everything was alright, except for the taste.

6 Months 3 Weeks

Mummy brought me a new toy. It plays many tunes and teaches me to count and say the alphabet amongst other things. I like to close the computer, see I'm doing it now. It looks so much neater that way.

After a few days of crying nights my two bottom from teeth have made their way out and now you can see them. I have put my parents through sleepless nights over the last few days, but get use to it, there will be plenty of sleepless nights over the next few years.

Off to the Doctors today to receive my 6 monthly injections.

After waiting so long for my name to be called up, why do we make appointments? We went to another room. I sat on the table and received two injections. The first one into my left leg which I did not even feel, the second one in my right leg made me scream out for a few seconds and that was it.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. The lady in the waiting room said her daughter screamed and cried for ages as it really hurts.

That goodness that is over for another six months.

6 Months 2 Weeks

Oh it has been an interesting few days.

Since the visit to the clinic, there has been a change in my diet. I am now eating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. But I do not know what they have been making for me. After we left he clinic, Mummy and Daddy brought some chicken for my dinner. I did not like it at all. They pureed the chicken and mixed it with my vegetables, Mummy leave my vegetables alone, who eats pureed chicken anyway?

The next day Daddy fed me this chicken stuff again, I nearly spewed it all over him. I was gaging each time he gave it to me. I think he got he ratio all wrong. One cube of vegetables and one cube of chicken does not work. He threw that out and gave me vegetables. Now thats what Im talking about.

The next day Daddy divided the ration a little better, two cubes of vegetables and a quarter cube of chicken. I ate it but did not enjoy it at all.

Today was much better, Daddy threw the pureed chicken out and made a nice batch of Green Split Pea (for protein), Potato and Sweet Potato. This is so much nicer and I ate it all up.

Daddy I just don't like that chicken stuff, leave it off my vegetables.

A visit to the clinic to have my six monthly check up.

Here are the facts:

Weight is 19.9lbs (9.015 kg)

Length is 27.2 inches (69cm)

Head Circumference is 17.7 inches (45cm)

I'm well in the top 90% for my weight, just in the 90% for my height and well within the 90% for my head circumference.

So at the moment everything is on track, well except for my sleeping patterns. I wake about 3.00am each morning and scream the house down. The nurse believes that I may be hungry and need some protein in my diet and to increase my feeds to three meals a day and decrease my bottle intake to 180mls before my feeds and 240mls before bed.

I don't think I like this lady.

5 Months 4 Weeks

I went to the eye specialist today to have my watery eye checked out. Mummy and Daddy took me to the Prince of Wales Hospital at Randwick. Things were looking up, cause as soon as we sat down we were called into a room with the nurse.

The nurse conducted a number of eye checks, she kept sticking up placards with white and black strips at one end, each time she threw a card up the strips changed ends sometimes. The strips got smaller and smaller each time. The nurse also kept shining light in my eyes, I like looking at lights.

Suddenly my eyes stung a little as she put drops in my eyes, everyone was saying what a good boy I was. Ahhh I am brillant.

We went out to the waiting rooms and sat there for 2 hours. The doctor called us into another room and ten minutes later we left with everything in its correct order.

The first nurse walked into the room and spoke to another nurse, they were talking about me. The nurses and the doctor could not believe what a good patient I was. The doctor mentioned that I was so placid.

Im so perfect, I think that I have ruined the thoughts of my parents haveing another baby as it could not be as good as me.

5 Months 4 Weeks

For the first time I had yoghurt today. Daddy brought me one especially for babies. But I didn't like it that much, when he fed it to me I scrunched up my face at the taste of it.

But I ate it anyway..

Mummy made me sweet potato and potato. I'm progressing through the food groups and I enjoy them all, well at the moment

Today I progressed to broccoli and potato. It was alright and I ate it down, however I think that Mummy and Daddy will have very dirty nappies to change.

Mummy laid me on the floor with all my toys. I had a fun time playing with them when Daddy moved them away from me. It made me a little upset so Mummy put me on my stomach.

I then did the thing my parents have been after, I rolled onto my back....shortly after I rolled back on my stomach....Suddenly Mummy and Daddy cheered and clapped, so I rolled over again.

It does not take much to impress my parents, I might do it again later for them..

A new dish for my solid food is pumpkin and potato. I like the sweetness of the pumpkin.

Today I have progressed from my baby bath to the big bath tub. Mummy brought this bath chair for me to make it easier. I not real sure about it but I can splash around now.

Today is Mummy's birthday and we went to a Greek restaurant. Daddy is taking the picture and I am here with Nanny, Auntie Kim, Uncle Jai, Cousin Jordan and my brother Sean. That is all of us on my Mothers side. I don't think I can fit all of my relatives on my Dad's side in a single photo there are just so many.

5 Months

I finished the bottle of Chicken and Corn that Daddy purchased, he is a lazy one. Mummy brought a new hand held Breville Wizz Stick Professional and she is making food fresh for me. Mummy started me on Potato which I will be having for the next few days, I wonder what she will make for me next.

5 Months

Im five months today.

Mummy was at work today till 7pm. Daddy, after spending the afternoon running around picking me up from Nonna's place after work and shopping for dinner finally got me home.

Daddy fed me some solid food, Chicken and Corn. I'm now on the path away from the bottle of milk. I liked that food so much, just watch out how it will fill my nappy, hahahahahaha....

4 Months 4 Weeks

Today Mummy, Daddy and I travelled to my Auntie Jennifer and Uncle Stephen's place in Thirrol. We got there late in the afternoon and settled down to a nice cosy dinner. Unfortunately Daddy forgot the pack the camera, so there are no photos to upload onto my blog. Sorry guys but Daddy can be a dunderhead at times.

I got to touch my first dog, they have a Whippet named ELMO, strange name but it came about by my Auntie thinking it was called 'Hell No' . He was very fascinated by me.

My cousin Jemery arrived home after a day out at the races, he sounded funny and smelt of something that was like a yeast smell. I didn't get to say goodbye in the morning as Alistair and Melanie went off early to play football and Damian was still lying in bed.

So we packed up and left, well it took a little while as Daddy could not fold the cot down, so he threw it in the car and we were off.

We travelled to Berry and went to the markets. The markets are held on the first Sunday of the months. It was a pleasant drive on a sunny Sunday.

Mummy brought some candles, a clock and a lantern. All these items are to be for our new house. I gotta tell you something Mum, we are renting and there is no new house in the future. How about we get the house first then you can design the layout.

Dropped into Nonno and Nonna's place then home to bed. What a huge day.

I got my first cold this morning.

I woke up this morning and my nose was all blocked. I could not breath through my blocked nose. Time to get those sympathic treats from Mummay and Daddy.

Well at least my immune system will build over time and fight these bugs.

4 Months

Mummy, Sean and I went to the doctors today for my four month injections and the place was so busy. There were babies everywhere.

I don't know how often I will be getting these injections but I got one in each leg and I had to drink some liquid.

The doctor and Mummy were so proud of me as I didn't cry, not like the other babies who were screaming their heads off.

3 Months 4 Weeks

Today I ate something besides milk. I had my first solid food.

Mummy gave me some FAREX and I ate it all, I didn't spit any out.

I am growing far beyond other children my age.

I slept the whole night through. Mummy gave me my bottle of milk at 6.30pm on Saturday night and I did not wake until 6.30am Sunday morning. After almost four months of waking Mummy and Daddy for my midnight feed, I did not disturb them at all.

They are so proud of me, especially Daddy, as it was his turn to get up during the night. He usually does with red eyes, half asleep and me screaming for some food.

I'm sure he keeps me waiting to punish me.

Parramatta Eels smashed West Tigers 44 points to 6.

I fell asleep at half time, the Eels were leading 22 points to nil so I knew it was going to be an easy win.

3 Months

I had an appointment with the Doctor today as my right eye constantly weeps. I have a common problem, a blocked tear duct. I have an appointment with the specialist in a number of months to address the problem. No big issue.

Whilst I was at there I had my measurements taken:

Weight is 14.3lbs (6.5 kg)
Length is 24.4 inches (62cm)
Head Circumference is 18.1 inches (46cm)

The Doctor said that I am average for my height and weight for my age, but my head circumference was larger then the average and "we must keep an eye on that", whatever that means. I think that the doc had a rough head, mine might be bigger but at least I have the looks, stupid Doctor.

A number of things happened to me today:

1. Mummy went back to work at her new job

2. Nunna and Nunno are looking after me

Even though I spent time with my Grandparents, I really missed my Mummy...

2 Months 2 Weeks

I got a grip on things today. I held my first rattle. I shook it about and it made a little sound.

2 Months 1 Week

Just got back from a weekend away with the family. We had our first road trip and it was very interesting. Daddy took the long way to the Central Coast and Mummy became so impatient sitting in the car for over 1 and half hours. Luckily my Nanny was sitting next to me along the way.

We stopped at Aunt Vicki's house and had some lunch. Mummy finally had a BBQ and many servings of meat. I got another present, it seems every time I meet someone new I get a little gift, lets keep meeting new people.

After some full stomachs we drove a little down the road and stayed overnight with friends, Stephen, Leanne and their three children. I got a new portable cot for the occasion.

It was a long weekend and it was nice to come home to my own little cot.

2 Months - Happy Mother's Day

Today is a special day and it belongs to my Mummy.

I am thankful for everything that she does for me, I can not say anything yet, but when she plays with me I smile as big as I can to let her know that I love her.... I love you Mummy xxxx

3 Months

Many things happened today.

1. I turned 3 Months old

2. Mummy started her new job

3. My Nunna and Nunno looked after me for the day

Mummy commenced her new job today, she has left her work at Fernwood Woman's Gym and is now working for the NSW Police Force, like Daddy. I was a little sad when she left me, I have been with her the whole time. But I did get to spend time with my Grandparents, even though Nunno took car of me which was a little scary.

I was so happy when Mummy came to pick me up again, it was so nice to see her. I missed her so much.

2 Months

Mummy took me to a new mothers group today. We usually go to the Rockdale group with Cristina and Adam, but they have been missing in action for the last number of weeks. So Mummy decided to go closer to home, we ended up going to the Oatley group.

I got weighed today, 12 Pounds 9 Ounces (5.85kg). I am powering on the weight, I'm getting stronger and I love my milk....

2 Months

I am 2 months old today. I have learnt to smile and giggle, especially at my Mummy and Daddy.

Everyday is a new experience and I am trying to, for some unknown reason, attempting to stick my fist in my mouth. Well I'm sucking on my fist at the moment anyway.

I need a new dummy Mummy....

I had my 8 week immune shots today.

Mummy and Daddy were with me and they let the mean old man stick two needles into my legs and it hurt. I know that it is for my health, but I cried and cried....

I went to my 6 weekly check up today. I like to announce that I am a fit healthy baby:

Weight is 10lbs 3 (4.65 kg)

Length is 22.8 inches (58cm)

Head Circumference is 15.4 inches (39cm)

The Mid Wife said that I am long and slender.

Does that mean I will be an opening bowler for the Australian Cricket Team and not a batsman?

Decisions, Decisions, Decision!!!!!!

1 Month 1 Week

I was been waking early for a few days now, every 3 to 3 half hours. I have been trying to tell my parents that I'm hungry and want more milk. Presently I am only getting 120ml's per feed (6 -7 feeds a day). This is a little unusual as I am suppose to be on 120ml per day 6 times a day until I am 2 months old which is another 3 weeks away.

Daddy worked it out and he decided to increase my feed even though it is earlier then expected. So I am now on 180mls per feed. I feel so much happier, by the end of my feed I am in the clouds, I feel as if I am floating through the air, I'm in a daze.

I know that I will sleep longer during the night as I have a full belly.

1 Month

Today was the first day I smiled. You should have seen the reaction of my Mummy and Daddy. They were so proud of me. They stared at me and wanted more, so I gave them more.

1 Month

Mummy went out with her girlfriend, so it was Daddy and I, alone. It was not bad at all as we had a guys night in. I drank some milk and we watched the football, my beloved Parramatta Eels lost the match.

There were a number of celebrations today in my honor.

1. My Baby Shower

2. Wetting of the Babies Head

The members at Mummies work arranged a Baby Shower, generally, these are held prior to my birth. But the members decided to arrange this after I was born so they could see me. It was a fun afternoon and I received heaps of nice presents.

Daddy and his friends went to the local pub to "wet the babies head". For those who do not know the meaning of this, it basically means that the guys got out and get the new father very drunk. In most circumstance, the mother is usually in hospital during this time so the guys can go out and not be harassed for spending the whole night out.

Daddy got home a little drunk, he walked in the door, stripped down to his underpants, ate some leftover lasagna and went to bed. All the time telling Mummy how pissed his mates got him and he had to get up early for work. Luckily, he was in bed by 8.00pm and had time to sleep off the festivities.

Mummy was very understanding and was laughing at Daddy in his underwear.

1 Month

I am one month old today.

Mummy and Daddy were a little concerned as I was crying a little more then usual today. They soon worked out that I was wanting a feed in between my four hourly feed.

I am a growing little boy.

Week 4

Mummy and I went to our first Mothers Group today. We went with my new friend, Adam and his Mummy. All the Mummy's talked for hours and discussed all matters about their babies. My Mummy spoke about my sleeping patterns and that I do not sleep much in the afternoon. Other Mummy's spoke about the behaviours of their children and Mummy learnt a number of points.

Overall it was very informative we will go back again next week.

The Mid wife weighted me and I am 4.13 kilograms.

Week 3

My MEDICARE card arrived in the post today, I have an identity.

Week 3

Today was my first trip to the Doctor. I had to get my nipples checked and everything is ok. The Doctor believes its due to hormones and they should disappear over the next few weeks. All is well.

Week 2

Daddy went back to work today after 4 weeks at home preparing for my birth and looking after Mummy and I.

It has been such fun having Daddy home, he has been busy ordering Mummy around the house and telling her how to do things, my Daddy is so experienced I will learn so much from him.

I will miss him.

HAPPY EASTER

Mummy took me to see the rest of my family at Nonna and Nonno's place. I met many of my cousion's and we stayed for a little while. Everyone wanted to hold me and I felt like a parcel.

Daddy was not there with Mummy and I as he was umpiring a cricket match at Grahame Thomas Oval (Bankstown). The game was a fourth grade Quarter Final, Sutherland verses Campbelltown-Camden. I think Daddy will be away alot over the next few years. I will not mind as long as he can take Mummy and I with him.

Week 2

Went for a trip to see my Aunt Rose and Uncle Anthony at my Nonna and Nonno's house. I have such a large family which is so diverse from many cultures. You will see them from time to time and discover how vast my family is.

Everyone could not believe how small I was. Ill get bigger in due time.

Week 2

I had my first visit to the Child and Family Health Centre, I went to the Oatley Centre for my check up. I will be going here from time to time to make sure I'm healthy any my parents are looking after me, I hope they do.

The mid wife was very happy with my progress, I'm drinking about 90ml of milk, I have good eye contact as I'm always looking around, that is because I working out my situation, I'm a little concerned that my Daddy does not have a full head of hair, does that mean I will be bald when I get older? Also I'm a good sleeper, well what else is there to do?

I do have a few issues to address, these are my enlarged breasts, I could have a form of Mastitis. Although this is quite rare in a young baby my nipples are hard and Ive got it. I must be showing my feminine side, or I am very close to my Mummy.

So I'm off to the Doctors to get everything checked out.

Week 2

I went for a visit and saw my new friend, Adam, he is three weeks older then me.

My Mummy and Daddy know Adam's parents as Daddy worked with Adam's Mummy. As luck would have it Adam's parents went to the same prenatal classes as my parents. Anyway Adam and I have known each other for ages so Mummy, Daddy and I went to their house for a visit.

Adam has been a bit sick since he was born. He has something called reflux and could also be allergic to cows milk. I hope he gets better as I need someone to kick the ball with.

Week 1

I'm here on a nice lazy Sunday morning with my big brother Sean.

Week 1

Its been a busy few days. I have had many visitors and I have received lots of presents. I have been getting a little tired though as everybody like to pick me up. Daddy loves showing me off and he wakes me up all the time, he is a silly Daddy.

Mummy cut my fingernails for the first time, she hurt me and went a little close. I didnt think she meant it but I had a little cry to make her feel guilty, it worked and I got so many cuddles and kisses.

Week 1

I am 1 week old today.

This was a special day as my Daddy took me for a walk without Mummy. Daddy took me for a stroll to the shops as he was cooking for dinner. I think he only takes me for a walk because he calls me his "chick magnet".

We were gone for a little while and when we got home Mummy was a little stressed, I think she missed me.

Day 7

It dropped off, my umbilical cord fell off today. Will my belly button be an innie or outie?

I have finally been detached from Mummy, I am my own person now.

I feel I can take on the world.

Mummy and Daddy took me out again today. We went to Hurstville Westfields for a little stroll, better to test it out today then on a busier day. What an effort! it took such a long time for us to get ready and leave I didn't feel like leaving.

Daddy was driving and driving looking for a place to park the car when he nearly ran over some walking along the crossing. Luckily Mummy is on the ball. Daddy was yelling about something to do with these people taking all the parking spots for prams. I dont know what I am to do with him.

Day 6

I got to see Lara again, Lara came to check on me and because Mummy and I are doing so well we have completed the Mid Wife program. I such a good little baby.

Lara checked my weight and I now weigh 3.015kg. Of course I dropped a little but it was well within the allowed safety zone.

Mummy and Daddy brought Lara a little present to say thank you for the hard work she did on the day of my birth. Lara removed the clip which secured my umbilical cord.

I am now on my own.

Day 5 - My first Day out

It was a sunny Sunday morning, Mummy and Daddy took me for a walk to Mortdale. They had coffee and I slept most of the way. Daddy was pretty tired, I think it was the furthest he had walked in a long time.

The Mid wife called to check on me and everything was fine.

Daddy woke at 3.30am to feed me and stayed awake all morning till my next feed at 7.30am. My Daddy is so good as he let Mummy have a sleep in while he took care of me.

Day 4

All is going well, I'm doing the usual sleeping and eating. Elizabeth from STOMP came to check on me today and took some blood tests. I did not cry when she stuck me with the needle.

Day 3

Today was the first day of the Mid wife visit and Alison from South Hurstville STOMP came to check on Mummy and I. Everything way ok.

Day 2 - My First Visitor at Home

Nonno came and visited me not long after I arrived home and Nonno brought Mummy some flowers. Nonna did not come as she was visiting my Bisnonna in Stanthorpe, Queensland. I am sure I will meet her very soon.

Day 2 - My First Bath

I am crying not because I do not like to take baths, but Daddy made the bath water to cold. I will tell you once and once only Daddy, I LIKE MY BATH WATER TO BE HOT...............

Day 2 - On my way home

After much discussion with the head nurse and a check up by the doctor, I was allowed to leave hospital. Mummy does not like hospitals and we entered the early release program. This program allows 5 daily visits by a Mid wife if you are discharged from hospital within 48 hours.

I received my Hepatitis B shot and we left the hospital. Here I am asleep in the car capsule.

I like driving in cars I do. Daddy is such a good driver and Mummy sat next to me all the way home.

Nanny was my very first visitor in Hospital. I was only a few hours old and Nanny came to see me. I think Nanny will spoil me heaps. I like Nanny.

Day 1 - The Mid Wife

Here is Lara, the Mid Wife who delivered me. She was very busy that day as she was delivering three babies at one time. Lara gave me a vitamin K injection and I did not cry at all.

Day 1 - My Weight

Day 1 - I HAVE ARRIVED

Hello everyone. I have arrived into the world at 12.13pm. My name is Jett Guy Lenzo, I weigh 6'1 pounds (3.15 kg), I measure 51cm with a head circumference of 33.5cm. I was born in St George Hospital on a beautiful sunny day.

Daddy cried with happiness when I was born.

Oh my, I have seen my parents and the situation does not look positive.

Someone please help me!

Week 41 - The Journey

Mummy and Daddy arrived at the hospital about 10am after there was some questions by Mummy on the route to the hospital. I think Daddy went the long way round and Mummy was not enjoying the trip.

After a slow walk through the hospital doors, up the elevator to Level 1 and to the delivery suit, they finally arrived and were ushered into delivery suit room 4.

Mummy and Daddy sat waiting for things to roll into action. The Mid wife, Lara, arrived and Mummy was hooked to a monitoring machine which allowed everyone to hear my heart beat. Over time Mummy was having contractions, to help her, Daddy was placing a wet cloth over her head, Mummy was pulling on Daddy's shirt.

Mummy was soon in some pain and was asking for an epidural. Time was progressing and Daddy suggested she was doing very well and did not require an epidural. With the help of the Mid wife, Daddy and Lara convinced Mummy that breathing in gas to help the pain would be better.

About 11.15am, Mummy grabbed Daddy's shirt, looked into his eyes and said, "I want epidural". Daddy got the hint and called Lara back into the room.

The epidural was being administered and Mummy was sitting on the bed. Mummy said, "I think I have to do a poo." Lara said, "I dont think that is a poo you want to do, it could be the baby coming."

It's time for me to come out now.

Daddy was holding Mummy's hand and Lara was assisting my journey. Lara told Daddy to get down and help her hold Mummy's leg. Mummy started to push and my head was coming out. Mummy stopped pushing and my head went back in. Daddy could see my head told Mummy to keep pushing. Small sharps breaths he told her. After a few more pushes I popped out.

Week 41

Mummy woke up today about 7.30am and she had a pain in her lower belly. She looked to Daddy and said that she felt different today. Mummy felt like she was have small contractions. Mummy called the Mid wife and there was some discussion, but Mummy was told to call back later when matters changed.

Over the next hour, I had begun my journey and Mummy was having irregular contraction, at first they were every 3 minutes, then 7 minutes then 12 minutes. About 9.00am the contractions were very regular and coming every 4 minutes. Mummy called the Midwife and left a message.

The contractions were happen at a regular period and the Mid wife had not returned the call. Daddy, who at this stage was in a calm state called the Mid wife. As Daddy was on the phone, Mummy called out, "I think my water has broken." Daddy spoke to the Mid wife who told him to come up to the hospital.

Week 40

There was some tense times today at the Mid wife.

Daddy was in a discussion with the Mid wife about a possible date for my induction, (if I don't arrive soon). Generally, the hospital will wait ten days from week 40 before any possible inducement. Daddy can be such an impatient person. Mummy kept reminding Daddy not to argue with the Mid wife as they will be the ones delivering me so we should not upset them.

Well, Ill keep things hanging on for a little while longer, its so nice here in Mummy's belly.

Week 39

The time is getting near and another weekly visit to the mid wife. All is in order and I am just playing the teasing game, that is, seeing how long I can test the patience of Mummy and Daddy. After the appointment, we all went to a drive and had a nice stroll along the beach. I sure they are thinking that all this walking will bring me along.......well not just yet.

After the walk, it was out to dinner. A really good little Lebanese restaurant called Eastbite at Beverly Hills. The food was so fresh and tasty. Of course we ordered the banquet, it had all nice little treats to eat. I think we will go back there again.

Week 38

Another weekly visit to the midwife and all is well. To treat ourselves we drove to Cronulla and tried some Greek cuisine. A great spot name Opah was the place we went to have a little feast. The restaurant is named the original Greek Yum Cha, the food was nice and boy there was lots of garlic.

Keep posted to see if I arrive. I'm about 37cm in height and have grown 2cm since last week. I wonder if I will arrive soon.

Week 37

Its midwife time again and we are down to weekly checks. Im 35cm in height and heart beat is in good rythem. I am very active, moving around and keeping Mummy from sleeping.

Week 37

Today is the last day of work for Mummy. There will be no more 4.30am wake up, well not until I'm born and wanting a feed. Mummy received lots of presents from people at work, they were so kind with all the gifts I received.

I like presents.

Week 36

What a night...... Mummy had a funny feeling during the day and Daddy, (he is such a stress head) made her call the Mid wife. So it was a trip to the hospital, you may call it a trial run. The Mid wife hooked a machine to Mummy's stomach so the Doctor could hear my heart beat. All this was happening at 10pm when I wanted to sleep.

Of course, it was a false alarm and I in here for the long term

Week 35

Today we had some professional pictures taken of, well, me. Can you see me there being held by Mummy. This is the start of my modelling career. Mummy and Daddy have me working hard to keep a living already, Im only 35 weeks and not yet born.

We spent a whole day having a number of shots taken and here is one for you. The pictures were taken by Living Colour Photography and they are really good pictures, they make Mummy and Daddy look so professional. There will be more when I am born so keep posted.

Week 34

Today was a trip to the mid wife and I and in a heathly state. I like being in here andI dont ever want to come out. Soon Mumm yand Daddy will be making weekly visits to the midwife and they will hear my heart beat often.

I will see you all soon, maybe in about 6 weeks.
